WEEK 18 - Spanish-American War

In 1898 Puerto Rico, Guam and the Philippines became U.S. territories after the Spanish-American War, in which the U.S. aided Cuba in its fight for independence from Spain and demonstrated U.S. leadership in foreign affairs.
